Perfectly Fine

Things start out so well,
blue skies, kites flying, we are
so perfectly fine.

and you don’t kiss me but speak
and I crash and burn.

It takes only few
words to turn a joyful day
into a ruin.

This was written for Tri-Writing with Maya Stein, 3 lines for 21 daysToday’s prompt was: Upside down.
