Nope, no mistake there. That’s really my name.
Yes, my first name.
I’m a single mom, writer, and web designer oh heck, just trying to figure it all out while residing on the Connecticut shore, and I’ve been making bad choices for myself since before this Dick ruined my name.
After years of slinging pancakes and living paycheck to paycheck, it finally occurred to me in one of the dark times that I should try to make a living with the things I love doing just for fun. I left my last job in October of 2016 and I’m not looking back.
In my free time, I like long walks on the beach, reading big fat books, and writing novel after novel but never really finishing anything I start.
Somehow, some way, I’m going to make a living writing.
Interested? Read on! Let’s ditch our bosses and day jobs, do what we love for a living, and let’s make our lives suck a little less.

So what’s this happening here, is this a blog?
Well, I guess it’s more like a log.
A timeline.
An internet-based keepsake box of the things I’ve written about, thought of, complained about, took pictures of, and ruminated on since January 1, 2021.
There will be lots of quotes, because I like quotes, and there will be lots of links to my writing elsewhere, because I do a lot of writing elsewhere.
Hopefully, there will be more photos!
And happiness!
And unicorns shooting happy, glittery rainbows out of their unicorn asses!
It’s a rare pleasure to “meet” someone who loves “big fat books”! I just purchased a copy of Jane Eyre–never realized it was big and fat, hurray 🙂

Connecticut shore, eh? Before moving here to the frozen Northeast Kingdom in VT, CT was home. I lived all over that state until about a quarter century ago when I bid farewell to New Haven and settled in where I hope to remain for whatever time’s left me. Of course My Beloved Sandra, a Tropicalian type, has other plans. We’ll see. I’m enjoying your blog very much!
